A short walk from the gondola, with the slopes about two hundred metres away, an old-wood apartment for four to five guests: a large bright living room with decorative fireplace and balcony facing the mountains, an open kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In winter, when the run back to the resort is open, you ski from the door.

The apartment
The apartment is in a wooden residence on Route de la Résidence, a short walk from the gondola. Carefully decorated in old wood, it has the warm feel of a chalet: a large bright living room with comfortable sofas, a decorative fireplace that is not lit, and direct access to the balcony. The open kitchen looks onto the living room.
Access is via twelve steps. The private garage, a closed box, takes vehicles up to 1.70 m high.
Two bedrooms, four to five beds
The double bedroom is upstairs. The second is a large open bedroom, with a double sofa bed and a single bed, adjoining the staircase and without a separating door: perfect for children or friends, less so for a couple who want privacy. That is why the apartment suits four comfortably, and five.
Two modern bathrooms, one with a bath. Sheets, duvet covers and household linen are provided, the beds are made on arrival, a cot is available. Shampoo and shower gel are provided.
The open kitchen and meals
The open kitchen is fully equipped, with one particularity: a gas hob and a large plancha, in addition to the oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, coffee machine and kettle. Baking trays, utensils and wine glasses are there. The dining table sits between the kitchen and the living room.
The balcony, the terrace and the view
The balcony extends the living room, with outdoor furniture to relax facing the open view of the mountains and the gondola cabins going up. An outdoor terrace completes the whole; it is the only place to smoke, the balcony and the apartment being non-smoking. Sunsets over the cabins and the peaks are the photo everyone takes home.
Skiing from the door
The slopes are less than two hundred metres from the apartment. When the run down to the resort is open, you leave and return on skis, boots put on at the doorstep. The rest of the time, the gondola is a short walk away, and a free shuttle bus links the centre of Villars and the lifts.
The neighbourhood: Route de la Résidence
The apartment is a few minutes from the lifts, close to the centre of Villars with its restaurants and shops, and near the hiking trails for summer: downhill and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter, hiking, mountain biking, golf and paragliding in summer.
Who it suits
A family of four or five, a couple with friends, two couples who know each other well: the open second bedroom calls for ease between guests. Skiers find the most direct access to the slopes of our six properties; remote workers, a workspace and the wifi.
The minimum stay is four nights, all year round.
Arrival and departure, in practice
Independent arrival from 5 pm with a key box; the wifi code is in the arrival guide on site. Our Villars team answers every day from 9 am to 9 pm, usually within the hour.
Departure by 9 am at the latest: take the rubbish to the containers (the spot is shown in the guide), wash the dishes you used and strip duvet covers and pillowcases. End-of-stay cleaning is done by our team.
Good to know before booking
Non-smoking apartment, balcony included (the outdoor terrace is the only place), no pets and no parties; quiet after 10 pm. The fireplace is decorative. Ski boots stay on the doorstep, the floor is sensitive. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher and first-aid kit in place.

No. It is a large open bedroom, adjoining the staircase, without a door, with a double sofa bed and a single bed. It suits children or close friends; the closed bedroom with double bed is upstairs.
