Choosing well
The family chalet for eight is made for large families and groups of friends: three double bedrooms, two extra beds in the hall, two bathrooms, a sunny terrace and the calm of a residential neighbourhood, while staying five minutes on foot from the sports centre and the baths. It is the chalet rental in Villars-sur-Ollon that lets everyone share meals and evenings without getting in each other's way.
The three-bedroom apartments, all in the village centre, suit a family of six or two couples with children. Each has its own character: the penthouse with its cathedral ceiling, the two old-wood apartments in the same chalet, one of them with a hammam, and the garden-level apartment with a private sauna. The smallest, two bedrooms and two bathrooms for four to five guests, is the closest to the gondola and the slopes.
In every case you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a washing machine in most properties, wifi and free parking. The details specific to each property, beds, children's equipment, access, are on its booking page.
The village centre (Avenue Centrale, Route des Hôtels) gathers the shops, the restaurants and the departure of the lifts: four of our apartments are there, 100 m or a few minutes on foot from everything. Ideal if you come without a car or with young children.
Towards the sports centre and the baths (Chemin des Râpes), the neighbourhood is residential and quiet, with open mountain views; the village remains five minutes on foot. Our chalet for eight is there.
On the gondola side (Route de la Résidence), direct access to the slopes comes first: our two-bedroom apartment is about 200 m from the departure.
Further out, Chesières and Arveyes extend the village westwards around the international schools, and Gryon links the other side of the ski area. Villars is 1 h 30 from Geneva or Lausanne, by car or by train to Bex then the BVB railway, which also climbs to Bretaye.
Winter. The Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets ski area, linked to Glacier 3000, is reached from the village by gondola or by the Bretaye train. The weeks of Christmas, New Year and the February holidays are the most requested: book early for the chalet and the three-bedroom apartments.
Summer. An 18-hole golf course, hikes to the Col de Bretaye and Lac des Chavonnes, mountain biking, paragliding and the aquatic centre: the resort is as lively in July and August as in winter, and a holiday apartment rental in Villars-sur-Ollon then comes at gentler rates, often by the week.
Weekends and exeats. At 1 h 30 from Lake Geneva, Villars is a weekend destination all year round. The families of the international schools (Aiglon College in Chesières, Beau Soleil, Les Elfes, Préfleuri) return for every exeat: our central properties are designed for these short, repeated stays.

Villars belongs to the Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets ski area, linked to Glacier 3000. In winter, the slopes and lifts of Bretaye; in summer, the 18-hole golf course, hikes to the Col de Bretaye and Lac des Chavonnes, mountain biking and the aquatic centre.
The village is 1 h 30 by car from Geneva or Lausanne, or by train to Bex then the BVB railway. The international schools (Aiglon College, Beau Soleil) set the rhythm of the year with their exeat weekends: families come back several times a season.
You receive the access instructions before your stay. Check-in is possible from 5 pm and check-out is at 9 am. For an earlier arrival or a later departure, write to us from your booking: we confirm according to the cleaning schedule.
